New here

Your first Sunday shouldn’t feel like your first Sunday.

Walking into a church you have never been to is hard. So here is the whole morning before you get there, when it starts, what to wear, how to get into the building, and what happens with your children. Everything we can actually tell you.

Sunday morning

The whole morning, start to finish.

Two gatherings on a Sunday. Come to both, or come to the one that fits your morning.
  1. 10:00 AM

    Sunday

    Sunday School

Teaching for every age before morning worship.

  2. 11:00 AM

    Sunday

    Sunday Worship

Our main gathering, worship, the Word, and prayer.

The worship

Sing along, or just take it in.

Live music, singing, teaching from the Bible and time to pray, that is the shape of it. Some people sing with their hands in the air. Some stand still with their hands in their pockets. You are welcome to do either.

There is one more gathering in the week if you want it: Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. Midweek study, open to everyone.

Watch a message before you come

Arriving

The part people dread is the easy part.

Four things, in order, from your closet to your seat. That is genuinely the whole of it.

  1. 01

    Wear whatever you own

The church has not published a dress code. Wear what you already own and feel comfortable in.

  2. 02

    Get to the door

The church is at 3612 Evans Ave, Fort Myers. Its Google profile lists accessible parking and a step-free entrance.

  3. 03

    Walk in

The Hospitality Team exists so that no one arrives here and feels unnoticed. Greeters, ushers, the welcome centre and everything in between.

  4. 04

    Sit wherever you like

No reserved rows, no seating plan, nobody steering you to the front. The back row is a perfectly good row.

Come as you are

You don’t have to have it together.

Kids in Christ

Bring them. They’ll be fine.

Kids in Christ, K.I.C., is where the children of our church learn who God is in a way that actually makes sense to them. It is loud, it is fun, and it is built so that kids leave knowing they are loved.

Sundays, 10:00 AM
Who it’s for
Children

If you would rather keep your children with you in the service, that is completely fine, Kids in Christ is an option, not a requirement.

We don’t publish our check-in routine online yet. If you want to know exactly how drop-off works before Sunday, email kids@seehisfaceministries.org and ask.

Kids Ministry

Honestly

Four things we can tell you for certain.

Most of what keeps people sitting in the car is not knowing. So here is what the church has actually put in writing.
  • There is no published dress code.

The church has never published one. Wear what you already own and feel comfortable in.

  • You can bring your children.

Kids in Christ meets Sundays, 10:00 AM. If you would rather keep them with you in the service, that works too.

  • The building is step-free.

The church’s Google profile lists accessible parking, a step-free entrance and an accessible restroom.

  • There is a hospitality team.

A warm welcome, a hand with wherever you need to go, and someone to answer your questions if it is your first time.

Everyone who walks in

What this church has put its name to.

These are published on the church’s own Google profile. They are here because somebody deciding whether to walk through the door deserves to know before they get in the car.

  • Welcomes LGBTQ+ guests

  • Transgender safe space

Getting in the building

  • Wheelchair-accessible entrance
  • Wheelchair-accessible parking
  • Wheelchair-accessible restroom

If you need something that isn’t on that list, call (239) 288-5728 before Sunday and we’ll work it out with you, rather than leave you to find out on the day.

FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

Not the ones churches like answering, the ones people type into their phone while still sitting in the car.

Still stuck? Ask us directly or call (239) 288-5728.

  • Sunday School starts at 10:00 AM and Sunday Worship at 11:00 AM. Come to one or both. Arriving a few minutes early gives you time to find a seat and settle before anything begins.

Next step

Come and see for yourself.

Sunday Worship is Sunday at 11:00 AM. You can tell us you’re coming first, or just turn up, neither one is the wrong way to do it.
