The idea

Why Preparing Hearts Prison Ministry exists.

Preparing Hearts Prison Ministry exists to share the love, hope and saving grace of Jesus Christ with incarcerated men and women, encouraging spiritual growth, repentance, healing and transformation through the Word of God. We meet people with compassion and without judgment, reminding them that they are not forgotten, that their lives have purpose, and that through Christ, redemption and a new beginning are possible.

“I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”
Matthew 25:36, NKJV

What to expect

We seek to prepare hearts to receive God's truth, embrace His love, and walk in the freedom and hope found in Jesus Christ. We believe no life is beyond the reach of God's grace, and that every heart is worth reaching.

Inside it

What actually happens.

No secret agenda and no test at the door. This is what a gathering is made of.

Ask a Question
  1. Met without judgment

People are met with compassion first, and reminded that they are not forgotten and that their lives have purpose.

  2. Growth through the Word

Spiritual growth, repentance, healing and transformation, grounded in scripture rather than in a programme.

  3. Identity in Christ

Helping people discover who they are in Christ and live with purpose, during incarceration and after it.

  4. Beyond release

Strengthening families, restoring dignity and encouraging successful return to the community.
